촉망받는 신규 아티스트답게, 독특한 구성의 노래를 가지고 왔는데요! 사실 처음에 들으면 기본 구성과는 달라서 조금 당황스럽기도 합니다. 마치 소녀시대 'I got a boy'의 다양한 테마를 처음 접했을 때 처럼요. 하지만, 전혀 부담스럽지 않고 노래 제목에도 사용한 'Pluto: 명왕성' 이라는 의미처럼 우주에서 두둥실 떠다니는 느낌이랄까요..? 표현하기는 쉽진 않지만, 들어보시면 제가 무슨 말을 하려는지 알 수 있을 것이라 확신합니다 :)
아무튼, 명왕성을 제목에 사용하였듯 Rex Orange County는 이번 Pluto Projector라는 곡에서 자신만의 개성을 확실히 보여준 것 같습니다. 앞으로도 대중들에게 청각적인 충격을 안겨주는 노래들을 많이 발매해주길 간절히 바라겠습니다!
